Common name: Gold-dust tree.

Brief description: A stout dioecious shrub. Leaves are shiny, variegated with yellow spots,  simple, opposite, entire, glabrous, the margins coarsely toothed . Flowers are inconspicuous (shown on the left), in terminal panicles. Fruits are scarlet berry-like drupes in dense panicles. 

Campus data: Cultivated fairly frequently along walls around the campus. Around a dozen patches encountered.
