Common name: Trumpet-creeper (generic).

Brief description: A trailing or climbing woody vine, the stems 10 m or more. Leaves are odd-pinnately compound, opposite; the leaflets are 5-13, lanceolate to ovate, entire, margins sharply and coarsely serrate. Flowers are perfect, the corolla tube campanulate or almost tubular, only slightly bilabiate, resembling a trumpet; flowers in a crowded terminal inflorescence. Fruits are long capsules with two longitudinal ridges.
