Common name: Appalachian mock-orange.

Brief description: An arching shrub to 3 m. Leaves are ovate to oblong, simple, opposite, entire, glabrous to very sparsely hairy beneath, margins toothed to entire. Flowers are perfect, white, non-fragrant, in cymules of 3 or solitary. Fruits are an obovoid capsule.
