Introduction

The famous artist Christo (see link:http://www.the-gates-at-central-park.com/index.php?cont=chr_jea) created a gigantic art exhibit of 7,500 large metal Gates. These Gates were draped with orange fabric, and were placed along the 23 miles of walkways within New York City’s Central Park.

(Check out this link to see more pictures of the Gates and to read about their construction: http://www.the-gates-at-central-park.com/index.php?cont=the_gates).

Recently, Christo decided to take down his Gates from Central Park, but because the ground was still frozen from the winter, the metal frames were stuck in the ground and could not be removed! The orange fabric was taken off the Gates, but now all that is left are the huge, ugly, metal frames without any decoration on them! Mayor Bloomberg of New York City is very upset that this happened.  He thinks that the best way to fix the situation is to hang new artistic tapestries on the Gates as soon as possible.

Your mission is to follow the guidelines provided by Mayor Bloomberg, create a new piece of art, and sent it to New York to be turned into tapestries that will cover those hideous Gates in Central park!
