Conclusion

This lesson is designed to provide students with different perspectives on and methods for civil disobedience, thereby promoting a sense of civic responsibility through active participation.  After completing this activity, encourage the class to identify causes for action within their community.  What can they do to express their opinions?  How can they employ the methods of civil disobedience they learned about through this WebQuest in confronting these issues?  By actively participating in social and political discourse, students will extend their investigation of methods of civil disobedience beyond the classroom and realize the impact of an individual on society.
