Each group member will be assigned an element to explore.  Using the web sites provided, you will conduct your research, and create a written outline of the information attained.  You will be responsible for presenting the outlined information from your area to the rest of the group.  In conjunction with this activity, you will use the clues provided to determine which of these six countries could be the phantom country.  Be careful to examine the possibilities closely, for several countries might be contained under one clue.

After conducting the research in your specific area, you will rejoin as a group to discuss the results of the search.  While in your group, you must:

        1.  Determine which country is the phantom country by eliminating those that do not fit within the boundaries of the clue.

        2.  Write a group essay that states which country you believe to be the phantom country.  Support your answer with the knowledge attained in the search.  Be sure to include the information that defends your reason for selecting this particular country, as well as the information that defends your reason for not selecting the other countries for your answer.
