Evaluation

Students will be evaluated on the completed assignments individually and as a WebQuest team. There will be one grading rubric used in the grading process which includes the individual work each member must put forth to complete the WebQuest. The dynamics of the group must also be looked at closely in order to give each group the most fair and accurate grade. Look for cooperation of group members, equal distribution of work, and the sharing of tasks and materials.

When evaluating students with diverse needs, changes might need to be made to the rubric or how closely you adhere to it. Instead of looking at the final product, pay close attention to the amount of work students are putting into the project and how students are responding to constructive feedback from the teacher and the rest of the group. Encourage the fellow group members of diverse learners to help and support them in order to make their WebQuest a success.

See Student Evaluation page for the grading rubric.
