Introduction

Pretend you have traveled back in time to the chaos of the French Revolution. You find yourself in a country, with social, political and economic inequality. While the bourgeoisie eat seven course meals and live in the lap of luxury the peasants find themselves scrapping for survival and living day-to-day. Then suddenly the Bastille falls and French society is turned upside down. This WebQuest will explore the events leading up to the French Revolution and the different perspectives the different groups of French society had on the tumultuous events. You will see how lives were drastically changed and the effect that this event had on the course of history.
