Evaluation

Your grades are based on your performance as an individual and as a group member. Your grades will consist of 50 points for individual publications and 30 points for the collective work of the group based on the Rubrics below. At your teacher's discretion, you will be graded 10 points for note taking and 10 points for group cooperation.

Below are two grading rubrics. The first is for individual work, and the second is for group work

Rubric for Individual (50 points)

Creativity	The individual publication is visually displeasing and poorly organized. The tone and outlook of the work is not persuasive in matching the perspective and experiences of the author or the audience. (2 points)	The individual publication is unremarkable in appearance and sufficiently organized. The tone and outlook of the work is moderately persuasive in matching the perspective and experiences of either the author or the audience. (6 points)	The individual publication is aesthetically pleasing and well organized. The tone and outlook of the work is persuasive in matching the perspective and experiences of the author and the audience. (14 points)	The individual publication is aesthetically pleasing and well organized. The tone and outlook of the work is persuasive in matching the perspective and experiences of the author and the audience. (14 points)
Integration of Roles	Unsatisfactory incorporation of the role in a minority of the items of the publication. Poorly represents the perspective and experiences of the individual assigned. (2 points)	Adequate incorporation of the role in the majority of the items of the publication. Sufficiently represents the perspective and experiences of the individual assigned. (6 points)	High level incorporation of the role in most of the items of the publication. Skilled representation of the perspective and experiences of the individual assigned. (10 points)	Complete incorporation of the role in all of the items of the publication. Masterfully represents the perspective and experiences of the individual assigned. (14 points)
Accuracy	Few of the facts within the individual paper are accurate with over 6 errors in content and obvious biases. (2 points)	Generally the facts within the individual paper are accurate with 4-6 errors in content and moderate biases. (6 points)	Most of the facts within the individual paper are accurate with 1-3 errors in content or biases. (10 points)	All of the facts within the individual paper are accurate with no errors in content or biases. (14 points)
Presentation	Within the individual publication there are more than 11 spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. Also, the page is not neat, not typed and unattractive. (2 points)	Within the individual publication there are 6-10 spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. Also, the page is somewhat neat, typed and decently attractive. (4 points)	Within the individual publication there are 1-5 spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. Also, the page mostly neat, typed and fairly attractive. (6 points)	Within the individual publication there are no spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. Also, the page is neat, typed and attractive. (8 points)

Rubric for Group (30 points)
