Your work will be evaluated based on your individual research, your group's pamphlet and your news broadcast. The following rubric will be used to grade your project.

Individual Research

Minimal amount of information and inadequate sources.

(0-5 points)

Average amount of information but lack of variety of sources.

(6-10 points)

Good amount of relevant information from several different sources.

(11-15 points)

Very thorough and descriptive information from a variety of sources.

(16-20 points)


 

 

Group Pamphlet

 

Poorly written with many grammatical errors and work is not supported by research. Little or no relevant information or illustrations.

(0-10 points)

Not much evidence of research and needs editing. Lacking in appropriate illustrations and information.

(11-20 points)

Well written, but has a few grammatical errors. Good illustrations and information.

(21-30 points)

Well written and supported by research. Excellent illustrations and information.

(31-40 points)


 

 

Group News Broadcast

 

Poorly organized presentation and group lacks speaking skills. Provides inadequate information and did not engage the audience.

(0-10 points)

Average presentation and speaking skills. Provides information but is poorly organized and lacking some interesting information.

(11-20 points)

Good presentation and speaking skills. Provides relevant information.

(21-30 points)

Excellent presentation and speaking skills. Captures and maintains audience attention. Provides appropriate and interesting information.

(31-40 points)
