Well, you have done it!  You learned all about the rainforest and its special features and you have become an expert in your field. You have carefully considered your position on ecotourism and presented it to the Chief and his council of Elders. The skills you used in making your decision and your ability to work as a group will be important in the rest of your school career and for the rest of your life! Because of your careful and well-presented findings, the chief and his council will have the information they need to make the best decision for the tribe that they possibly could. You truly have played a major part in helping the native Ecuadorian Indians try to improve their lives while still conserving the rainforest. The tribe and the Chief THANK YOU!

Your role as a rainforest "expert" and protector doesn't have to stop here! Saving the rainforest and teaching other people how important it is to protect our earth are important jobs! Ask your teacher what you can do to help. You may also want to visit some of the following web sites or read some of these terrific books!
