Implementation Overview

If you plan to have students complete the project in class, you should set aside at least one week of classes. How much you assign to be done out of class, depends on student access to the internet, and how reasonable it is to expect student groups to get together outside of the school day. During this lesson, students will engage in some individual work, group discussion, and the creation of a mural.

Since different teachers have different procedures and guidelines for cooperative learning, the portion where students are working together to make their murals does not give students particular roles. Feel free to add additional instructions about group process and accountability.
