The Task

Your task is to find information about Rosa Parks. Once you have completed your researched, your journalist team will create a newspaper.

As a team you will:

• Write an article about Rosa Parks

• Write an article about the Civil Rights Movement

• Find/create pictures and advertisements that are from or could have been from the 1950’s and 1960’s eras

After completing your newspaper, you will present it to the class.

All newspaper articles created will be put together to design a book that will be donated to your school library.  Future classes will be able to use your creativity to learn about Rosa Parks and the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950’s and 1960’s.
