As the meteorologist, you will be examining the weather conditions on each island. Your teacher will give you an observation journal to record your findings. Use the sites on this page to answer the following questions about the weather on the islands of Aruba, Ascension, Galapagos, Prince Edward, and Shetland.

1.  What is the temperature on this island during different months of the year?
2.  Does it rain or snow here?
3.  What are the different seasons like?
In addition to those questions, keep your eyes open for other information relating to the weather.  Some islands may have more information than others do, but the most important thing is that you write down everything you can!  Be as complete as possible. It will help you later when you rejoin your group and compare information.

Some of these site may report temperatures in degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit.  Visit the site below to convert temperatures from Celsius to Fahrenheit or Fahrenheit to Celsius.
