Spanish Art Expert!!!

    You will need to look at how the Spanish Civil War influenced artistic development in Spain.  What were the common themes of artwork following the civil war?  How were people portrayed in the art-happy, sad, depressed, etc.?  What types of artwork were more relied upon than others for expression, i.e., photography, sculpture, painting, etc.?  What colors were used-bright colors, dreary colors, black and white, etc.?  Examine these ideas and look into your own conclusions surrounding what ways the Spanish art industry reflects life under the fascist regime of Franco.
