Learners

This WebQuest was designed for a third grade class. Upon completion of the lesson, my students will have created a newspaper article and learned research skills. They will have also completed research related to English and History.

The lesson was designed to expose students to the Ancient Greek civilization. It uses discovery, analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of guided information.

Students should have some knowledge of the writing process and how to write a newspaper article before using this lesson. Students should have some experience with word processing in order to complete their writing assignment. Students should also have some basic background knowledge of the Ancient Greek Civilization.  They have been exposed to the steps involved in research.
