Conclusion

While the students likely groaned and protested when you announced that they were going to do a webquest on Wuthering Heights, hopefully by the end of the lesson they have learned to enjoy it and recognize the universal themes in it. They have not only learned to internalize the worth of Wuthering Heights, they have also become experts on the novel and on the setting they chose to rewrite it in. They have worked in a group to produce an impressive portfolio and have created something about which they should be very proud.
