Resources Needed

In order to effectively implement this webquest, the following materials are necessary:

• Computers with Internet access (preferably one computer for every student, but it can be arranged so that htey share computers).
• Acrobat Reader on the computers so that they can access the PDF files.
• Access to a library and other print materials so that the students' research can extend beyond the Internet.

Depending on the time you wish to invest in this project, this webquest could be taught as an interdisciplinary unit with a history teacher. You could choose which period you would like them to rewrite it in and have the history teacher focus upon that era while you work on the actual projects with them. Students may also wish to consult with specialists that relate to their roles if this is a resource open to the school.
