Acalypha leptopoda Muell. Arg. (syn: Acalypha unibracteata Muell. Arg.); ch'ilib tux, sak keep

Shrub with slender branches, forming dense thickets and commonly reaching heights of 2 or 3 meters. Leaves alternate, simple, ovate-elliptic, base cordate, margin toothed, apex acuminate, with short-petioles. Flowers unisexual, minute on axillary spikes.

The slender branches can be used to make baskets and bird cages (Standley).
