shrub with dimorphic stems (long shoots and short shoots); leaves
alternate (clustered on short shoots), simple, palmately veined,
base cordate, margin serrate, apex acutei inflorescence cymose;
flowers pale yellow; sepals reflexed; petals clawed at the base, converging
canopy-like over the center of the flower; stamens and staminodia forming a
staminal tube, each anther covered by a petal.
