Chamaesyce hirta (L.) Millsp.;

Herb with milky sap; stems pubescent, usually ascending, often red; leaves opposite, simple, with a distinctively angular outline, margin toothed; flowers minute, clustered into cup-like cyathia; cyathia borne in dense, leafless glomerules constituting lateral branches; cyathial appendages vestigial or obsolete; capsules minutely pubescent.
