Low shrub; stems and leaves with stellate haris; leaves alternate, simple, ovate to lanceolate, apex acute, margin with minute stalked glands (magnification required!); inflorescence a terminal raceme; pistillate flowers at the base of the raceme, the rest of the flowers staminate; pistillate flowers green; staminate flowers (stamens) white.
