Desmodium glabrum (Miller) DC.

Tall herb, to 2 m or more; leaves alternate, trifoliolate; inflorescence a terminal, raceme-like; flowers white to pale pink with darker pink-purple markings; fruits one-seeded, drooping from the twisted stipe so that the upper (dorsal) edge appears lateral.
