Biennial
herb with white latex; leaves alternate, simple, elongate and
irregularly lobed, base clasping, margin lobed and toothed, apex
acute; heads arising from axils of upper nodes, yellow; ray florets
only (disk florets absent); fruiting achenes with parachute-like
plumes.
