Lycianthes ocellata (Donn. Sm.) Morton & Standley

Woody liana or weak-stemmed shrub sprawling over other vegetation; branchlets tracing a zig-zag pattern; leaves opposite, simple, the members of each pair often dissimilar in size, round to elliptic, base obtuse, margins entire, apex rounded or with small apiculate tip, stellate-pubescent; flowers axillary, solitary or paired; fruit a berry with 10 persistent calyx teeth.
