Neomillspaughia emarginata (Gross.) Blake

Shrub or small tree; terminal bud covered with hood-like deciduous stipule, leaving a ring-like stipule scar at each node; leaves alternate, more or less rounded in outline, base cordate, margin entire, apex notched; inflorescence an elongate panicle; flowers small, white; fruits winged, 3-angled.
