Pedilanthus tithymaloides (L.) Poir. ssp. parasiticus (Klotzsch & Garcke) Dressler

Weakly woody, semi-succulent shrub with milky latex; stems green, zig-zag; leaves alternate, simple, short-petioled, ovate-elliptic, base rounded, margin entire, apex acute to obtuse; flowers not seen at Kaxil Kiuic, presumably in reddish boot-shaped cyathia produced at the stem apex.
