Psychotria nervosa Swartz

Tree; leaves opposite, simple, elliptic, base acute, margin entire, apex acute, with interpetiolar stipules; inflorescence a congested compound cyme at the ends of the branches; corolla white, the tube and lobes very short; fruit a drupe.

The primary and secondary veins are prominent by virtue of being impressed somewhat into the leaf surface, accentuated by the convex curvature of the lamina regions between adjacent secondaries.
