Brief description: A shrub to 2 m with slender branches and close and grayish bark. Leaves are lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, simple, opposite, entire, pinnately veined, with few stellate hairs above, glabrous beneath, margins finely sharp-serrate. Flowers are perfect, purely white, in racemes. Fruits are a dehiscent capsule.
