Brief description: A climbing liana to 30 m. Leaves are simple, alternate, palmately veined, shining, dark green, margins entire; leaves are dimorphic, the ones of flowering shoots are narrowly elliptic, entire; the others are broad, palmately 3-5 lobed. Flowers are perfect, small, green, in solitary or racemose umbels. Fruits are a berry-like drupe. 

Campus data: Frequent as undergrowth of Westhampton Forest and other shady areas, often climbing trees and/or forming dense patches on the ground.
