Brief description: L. tatarica x L. morrowii. A tall shrub to 6 m. Leaves are ovate to oblong, simple, opposite, pinnately veined, slightly hairy beneath, margins sometimes toothed to lobed. Flowers are perfect, in axillary peduncles, the corolla pink to fading yellow, flowering late April. Fruits are a red, rarely yellow, few-seeded berry. 

Campus data: Relatively frequent in the wild, not cultivated. Invasive shrubs.
